Jewelry Care
Chain necklaces are less likely to get tangled if you store them hanging up or in a protective bag with the clasp hanging out of the top.
When you are not wearing your jewelry keep it in a dry, direct sunlight free area.
Caring for your oxidized silver pieces
Oxidized silver is created by intentionally darkening a piece of silver through a chemical process. The darkened patina is basically a sped up version of the natural tarnishing process. Your piece may eventually lose some or all of its oxidation. If you would like your piece re-oxidized you may send it to us and we would be happy to oxidize it for you.
If cleaning is necessary, gently rub the piece with a jewelry cleaning cloth or use mild soap and warm water (with as little rubbing as possible).
Minimize contact with hairspray, sunscreen, perfumes, etc. This may have an effect on the oxidation.
Never cleaned your oxidized silver with jewelry cleaning dips or aggressive polishing because it will remove the oxidation.
